This book is Really worth the buy. The Author has detailed every minute experience that he had, combined with a flawless smooth writing, is going to be a real joy to read through. This is probably the first of its kind in original English written by someone from Kerala. Since I am not a travel freak, For me it was like seeing these places through the Author's eyes. The book also gives a near complete list of medicines (much of which is essential for any travel, especially to high rise places), the gear and other apparels required and a precise travel plan with contact details of all the help you need over at Leh-Ladhak region. If you are a biker you should have this book, if you are a travel freak you must have this book, and if you are like me who fall in neither category then you definitely should read this book. A simply written very enjoyable and extremely useful travelogue by a simple academic who found this time out of his busy schedule. Now thats truly remarkable!!!!
